A Priori or Posteriori?: The vocabulary is largely a priori, but some features are based on my limited knowledge of Mandarin.

Which Numbers?: Singular, plural, though plural marking is obligatory only on pronouns.

Native Script: Syllabary based on Hangul
Romanised?: Yes

Morphosyntactic Alignment: Primarily topic-comment, but clauses that have subjects are nominative-accusative.
Primary Word Order: VSO
Alternate Word Order: Analytic syntax locks word order fairly strictly.
Head Position: Largely head-initial

Secondary Type: Agglutinating

Honorifics?: Yes
Dependant on: Class (working/nobility)
Included How?: With special particles

Compounds and Derivations Frequency: Compounding is infrequent in nouns, but serial verbs are somewhat common.
Methods of Compounding: Serial
Methods of Derivation: Not sure.

Purpose of Conlang: Artlang/fanlang
Theme: The ancient language of the Earth Ponies, created for a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fan fiction.
Interesting Features?: Not particularly.
Problems?: Dead language that is still relevant in magic study, but isn't widely taught anymore; only a few ponies in Equestria have more than just a superficial knowledge of it.
This is a language I'm working on developing for The Tale of Tux n Tails and other stories in my headcanon. The first chapter is hosted here, but the other chapters are here.

How did your choice of setting affect the language? Does it include a lot of pony-specific vocabulary? And did it affect your grammar and phonetic choices?
